Our Landscape design team has a wealth of experience in a wide range of areas:
We enjoy preparing Landscape Plans for rural lifestyle blocks which reflect the unique requirements of the owners and site characteristics. Elements that are common throughout many of these designs include shelterbelt planting, orchards and vegetable and herb gardens, native revegetation plantings through riparian margins and on steep or eroding banks, woodlots and amenity planting.
We have a passion for the design of play spaces, including pre-schools, schools, parks and residential. We recognise that the best results come from a more collaborative approach and a pooling of a ideas from all interested parties, resulting in an outcome which responds to the needs of the users of the spaces and the unique site characteristics.
We have worked on many subdivision projects ranging from assisting in the master planning of large green field sites, to smaller rural and urban subdivisions. These involved the preparation of concept plans, street tree planting, mitigation planting and wetland and storm water pond design. Many of these included the preparation of landscape and visual assessments.
We have prepared many landscape and visual assessments for a wide range of pro-jects including subdivisions, telecommunications towers and residential developments. A large proportion of these involved presentation of evidence at Council hearings. We have experience presenting evidence in the Environment Court .
We enjoy the collaborative approach that is required when working with community groups and other interested parties to come up with practical and creative solutions for landscape design in the public realm. Projects that we have worked on include streetscape enhancement, Playcentre con-cept plans, school master planning and detailed design and park design.
