Since 2004 Geraldine has been working as a sole practitioner Landscape Architect.
During this time she has prepared many designs for rural lifestyle properties, undertaken a large number of landscape and visual assessments for subdivisions and designed a number of play environments for early childhood centres an
schools.
From 1994 to 2004 Geraldine worked in both Australia and New Zealand ranging from a relatively small Landscape Architecture Practice through to a large multi-disciplinary company. During this time she gained experience working as
part of small teams and large multi-disciplinary teams on a wide range of projects throughout New Zealand and in Victoria, Australia. These included commercial developments and master planning, reserve and storm water quality pond
design, rural subdivision development, district plan policy and resource consent applications.
Geraldine prepared many landscape and visual assessments for a wide range of projects including associated recommendations for mitigation measures and design. A large proportion of these involved presentation of evidence at Council
hearings. As well as this, Geraldine has experience giving evidence in the Environment Court.
